I love green smoothies, because everything what is green, has to be full of vitamins. It’s spinach what makes it green and contains beside vitamins, protein, folate, magnesium and fiber. This smoothie taste is nutty and sweet, so after drinking it you won’t crave after sweets. I got the recipe from my favourite health blogger Deliciously Ella and if I saw her post, I just had to try it. It just happened that I had everything in my kitchen already, just hadn’t had the idea to mix them together. I will definitely do it more often.
Ingredients for one big smoothie or two smaller glasses:
- 1 frozen banana
- 1 tablespoon of peanut butter
- 200 ml rice milk
- 1 handful of spinach
- 1 tablespoon of shelled hemp seeds or hemp powder
Tip: bananas needs to freeze at least 3 h. I suggest you keeping always some bananas and spinach in a freezer.
Tip: definitely peel and slice bananas before putting them to the freezer, because other way it’s impossible to use them.
Mix all the ingredients in blender, use maximum speed until everything is smooth and shiny.
