This cake is not only the easiest, but also the tastiest. It’s dough is crisp, but the content juicy and filled with a apples and cinnamon. It’s must do recipe in your kitchen when there’s too many apples in your kitchen.

Ingredients (about 8 pieces):

  • 300 g white flour
  • 180 ml ( 3/4 cup of ) water
  • 200 g butter (you can use also coconut butter)
  • pinch of salt
  • about 7 apples
  • sugar or some other sweetener
  • cinnamon

Mix all together flour, salt and water. Add room temperatured butter. Shape a ball from it and put it to a freezer for about 30 minutes, until the butter inside the dough has hardened the dough.

Tip: you could use half portion white flour and half portion wholemeal flour to make cake more healthier.

Divide dough into two. Roll out the dough to a thickness of about 5 mm. Roll it as thin as you wish or the size your griddle is. Layer the dough over the griddle, add apple slices, sugar, cinnamon and cover it with other dough layer.

Tip: use coconut sugar and coconut butter instead of traditional sugar and butter to make cake healthier.

Bake the cake about 40 minutes in 200°C/ 392°F until the cake is brown.

For a decoration you could use a sprinkle of castor sugar or coconut sugar.

Enjoy it while it’s still warm.
