This pudding is really easy to make, it is perfect for breakfast and it’s also delicious as a desert. You can add different nuts, berries or spices as you prefer, they add nutritional value to the pudding, so it could be a great start for a morning. If you are interested to discover new tastes and make pudding even more healthier, you should try use coconut milk instead of cow’s milk. This desert tastes really good as warm or cold.

For the ingredients you need (amounts for 2 people):


  • 1 dl water
  • 0,5 l milk (ordinary milk or for example coconut milk)
  • 1 dl rice (rice for porridge)
  • all the extras as sweetener (sugar), pinch of salt, cinnamon, berries, raisins, coconut, vanilla extract etc.

Boil the water, add rice. Boil few minutes until the water has absorbed into the rice. Add the preferred milk and boil it in low heat about 40 minutes. Stir the mixture from time to time. Add the sweetener and pinch of salt, then ann the spices, decorate it with berries an cinnamon.
