Oats provide magnesium, fiber, plant-based protein, potassium, and they contain absolutely no sugar. For a change to every morning’s oat porridge, try to soak oats overnight. It tastes as good as porridge, but is much easier to digest. Especially if you have problems of digesting oat porridge, you should try soaked oats. After that they save your time in the morning, you just have to cover oats with the milk and put it in the fridge. It will “cook” in fridge overnight by itself. All this makes them a true virtue for healthy morning meals.

You will need:

  • whole grain oats
  • non-dairy milk
  • some agave or maple syrup
  • preferred flavours as cinnamon, cacao or some berries, nuts etc.

Tip! Definitely use non-dairy milk, because as the oats soak overnight in non-dairy milk, their digestibility improves greatly. The key has to do with what happens overnight as they soak. Their starches break down which improves digestibility.

Just cover the oats with non-dairy milk and let it stay overnight in fridge. In the morning add preferred flavours and it’s ready to eat.
